A New Blog For Sale with domain name

This is probably one of my favorite blogs that I have designed....It includes a free year registration of the domain http://www.shopdropandblog.com/ which makes it easier for everyone to remember your blog name. Vintage Purses and other GLAM JUNK

Some glamorous things I have collected in the past year. A black and red beaded vintage bag with a red velvet bag in the background. I am just loving the pearl opera glasses too...So Glam!

Is my dad not the cutest thing you have ever seen? I love this picture. It makes me wish I had a house with

a porch like this somewhere out in the country... I can just imagine sitting on the porch reading a book, hmmm maybe in a rocking chair, slight breeze, glass of ice tea....yep, I wish I was there.

This picture is my dad with his cousin Nick. They grew up more like brothers than cousins so I actually call him my Uncle Nick. Aren't they just the best? They look like they could be a handful don't they....? Come to think of it...my Uncle Nick is still quite a character....I'll tell you more about him later.

And last but not least...this is my grandfather and grandmother. Unfortunately I never met my grandmother, she died when my dad was only four years old. Aren't they beautiful... they really look like an awesome couple. I just love the hat and the suit my grandfather is wearing. By the way, when did people stop dressing like this? I think I should have been born in another time.The twenties and thirties were made for me.. It is glam at it's best. They didn't have much, didn't need much, didn't ask for much and yet don't they look happy...oh, and glamorous...!

Vintage Watch Faces Made Fabulous Again

Just look at the new life that was brought to these vintage watch faces. Both are made from Bulova watch faces and are completely adjustable. They are so adorable. I happen to love vintage watches. I started collecting them at the Brimfield Antique show about eight years ago. If they work that makes it all the better, but I still love them if they don't. I'll post a few of them later on for you to see including the one I brought to the jeweler to fix. He brought up the fact that the watch was older than he was. It is absolutely beautiful. I'm sure you will agree.

Some Vintage Finds

I was out and about and found these beautiful vintage earrings. I love how they sparkle and look so glamourous. Don't you agree that they are fabulous? I am thinking about opening a little shop online of course called Glam Junk! They might be listed in the shop someday so keep your eye out for things you just have to have.
